The construction is complete except for the installation of the guiderail system on the bridge. The construction delay is due to heavy demand for fabrication of the bridge guiderail system and the inability of fabricators to meet current demands. Due to safety concerns the bridge cannot be opened to pedestrian or vehicular traffic without the bridge guiderail system being installed. The bridge guiderail system is anticipated to be installed in February 2015. The bridge site has been fenced off to ensure safety.

Hi! It looks like the guiderail system has been installed and the bridge looks complete. What is the projected open date for the bridge?

The rail system has been installed off the bridge at the approaches. Work on installing the rail system on the bridge is anticipated to be completed in a couple of weeks and it is anticipated that the bridge will be opened to traffic by end of March or early April 2015.

I see my answer, that the top rail has now been installed on the central span, and everything is looking finished. Thanks.
